• The Internet and the Web have revolutionized the way people are doing business, allowing us and any other garage sale picker with a computer and some spare time to reach a world-wide audience.

• As the style of shop became more upscale, the customer base has changed away from the regional collectible buyer towards the downstate arts and design crowd, not a bad change overall, but ... Purpose: To reimburse those members of the Seed Team who grow non-hybrid seed for distribution to others, when returning the harvest to a distribution point, and to reimburse those members of the Seed Team who are operating as a distribution point when they distribute non-hybrid seed to growers periodically. This grant proposal is to cover the cost of postage for distributors, and the return postage of seed grown to the distribution point. Cost: For the 1st year of operation, 1998, with 19 members participating, the estimated cost of postage reimbursement is under $100, including postage overseas. Cost in forthcoming years cannot be estimated at this time, but is roughly estimated to be $500 for 1999.
